- Assembly Plant Change
As old Lambda platform is now replaced by GM’s Chi architecture, 2017 Acadia will now be built at GM’s manufacturing plant in Spring Hill, Tennessee.
- Fuel Economy
2017 GMC Acadia is much more fuel efficient now than before because of its light weight. Another reason is that it now offers 2.5-liter inline-four engine with front-wheel drive.
